Before you start, you'll need the following:

Example my domain is www.axon.com.sg
My email is amit@axon.com.sg

As such my details would be

Outgoing server: mail.axon.com.sg
Username: amit@axon.com.sg
Password: xxxxxx

Step 1> Before doing the below setup on iPhone, pls ensure the email password is working. Try to login to webmail to check
eg: http://mail.axon.com.sg
username: <always your full email address>

If you can't login to webmail, pls don't proceed further, do email support@axon.com.sg to reset the password for you. Then try to login to webmail. If webmail works, then proceed as it means your password is correct.

Note: Kindly do not reset password to easy password like 123456 etc as it would be hacked easily. Always have combination eg: p@ss12La
 
STEP 2> Proceed to Setup the Email on iPhone
 

  1. From the Home screen, choose Settings, see Figure 1:

    : Click "Settings" to begin.

    Next, tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars, see Figure 2:

    In the Accounts section, tap Add Account..... See Figure 3:

  2. Choose your email account type. Select Others.

    NOTE:
    If you are using GOOGLE APPS email, pls click on GMAIL.
    - GOOGLE APPS users,pls avoid the below step, select GMAIL ICON,put your email and password - DONE. It would work automatically. DONE .. DON'T PROCEED FURTHER

  3. Select Add Mail Account under the Mail section, see Figure 5:

    Enter your name and email address. Then tap Next, see Figure 6:


     


    Since my email is amit@axon.com.sg
    it would be

    Name: Amit Kumar
    Address : amit@axon.com.sg

    password: xxx
    Description: Amit Corporate Email

    THEN SELECT IMAP <- DO NOT SELECT POP
    On the TAP - SELECT " IMAP"
     

    Make sure to enter your information, see Figure 7 below. The iPhone indicates these fields as optional but they are not.

    On the next screen, enter your incoming server.

    Since my email is amit@axon.com.sg
    it would be

    Incoming Server

    host name: mail.axon.com.sg
    username: amit@axon.com.sg
    password: xxx

    Outgoing Server
    host name: mail.axon.com.sg
    username: amit@axon.com.sg
    password: xxx 
     



    Tap Save to save the entered information. Your iPhone will then verify your account information.

    <NOTE: iPhone will flash a message >

    Cannot Connect using SSL
    Do you want to try setting up without SSL ?

    ------------> PLEASE PRESS ---------->>> NO
    We need the SSL to work

     
    Some iPhone depending on OS, will flash --- message to verify ----> press ---> CONTINUE
     

  4. Upon successful completion, you will be taken back to the Mail screen. Your account will now be listed. For this example, note That Guy's Email is listed under Accounts. See Figure 9:

    Still having issues ? Click on EDIT account and click on ADVANCED and check the settings are as follows for incoming and outgoing.

    Still can't work --- pls get iOrange instead of iPhone

    Still having issues, do call your provider like M1, Singtel, Starhub - who is providing the line and provide the following and they would assist you ,provide them the following details.

    Incoming server: xxx.yourdomain.com
    Outgoing server: xxx.yourdomain.com
    Account/Username: xxx@yourdomain.com <- full email address
    Password: xxx

    Require SSL: Yes , for incoming and outgoing
